Quick Note

Morning Everyone!

We are in the last two days of our fabric sale, which will end when we close Saturday afternoon.  If you haven't had a chance to stop by, there are still some great fabric, patterns, notions and kits available at excellent prices.

If you are interested in our Beginner's Quilt Class, please let us know by Monday June 9th at 5:00 p.m.  If we don't have three people signed up by that time, the class will be cancelled.  Times, dates, price and supplies are all listed in the last post.  If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call at 931-682-3746.

We are working feverishly  to get the quilt ready for our new Block of the Month club.  I have posted  previously pictures of two of the barn blocks in our Quilt Blocks on American Barns quilt.  We are in the home stretch and hope to start putting the quilt top together by next week!  If you haven't been by to see the quilt blocks we have prepared, stop by when you can.  Please let us know as soon as you can if you are interested in joining our Block of the Month club.  Cost and further details are available in the last post I made.  If you have any further questions, again, please give the shop a call at your earliest convenience and we will help you all we can.

I have made several of the blocks for this quilt, and it has been fun.  I have made blocks I haven't made previously, some of which are not difficult and some of which have been quite challenging.  There are also 3" blocks on each of the barn blocks, which was my first attempt at making what I would call miniature blocks.  Piecing this quilt has been a fun learning experience for me and I have so many ideas for the quilt I am making right along with everyone in the Block of the Month
club.  Come join us!
