Good Day Everyone!
Well, the Shop Hop 2011 is off to a fast start. We were very busy on Saturday, which was the first official day of the Shop Hop. We had many Shop Hoppers (makes us all sound like bunnies with shopping carts, huh :):)) in on Saturday. It was so nice to see those quilters that come every year during the Shop Hop and see what their ideas were for the exclusive Shop Hop fabric. The weather was good all day, and everyone seemed to be having a great time hopping from shop to shop. Many of our great deals were scarfed up by the early bird shop hoppers, but we have more where they came from. Several of our quilt lining fabric (108") is already marked down 25%, as well as some end of bolt pieces, precut 6 yard cuts of Moda fabric and some fabric still on bolts. Your goodie bag discounts are good on regular priced merchandise. For those who didn't make it in Saturday, we will be open this week Monday thru Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing the rest of ya'll soon.
This week, we will post the dates and times for two more classes at the shop. We are going to be doing a second Double Irish Chain class for those who weren't able to attend the one on the 17th of September. We need at least three participants. The cost is $35 for the class plus the cost of the pattern book. We got some new fat quarter bundles in that will work great with this pattern, so come by at your earliest convenience. The second class will be on the Labyrinth pattern (the quilt is hanging in the shop). We have had several inquiries about this class, and may need to have two if there are enough quilters interested. I will post the cost and date and time as soon as it is firmed up. We will definitely be having the classes before the Holiday season gets underway.
Everyone have a great week, and we hope to see you during the Shop Hop this week!
