Afternoon All:
Just a quick note to everyone regarding our Beginner's Quilting Class scheduled to begin this Saturday, June 14th. Due to lack of interest, the class will not be happening. If we get enough interest at a later time, the class will be rescheduled.
Sandra, Margaret and I are working on completing the quilt top for our Block of the Month club. We hopefully will have it finished by the weekend and I will post pictures on this blog as soon as I can. We have had several people show definite interest and others who I think are waiting to see the final product. I promise, this quilt is a fun project that will enhance and enlarge your quilting knowledge and give you many opportunities to personalize it to you tastes.
Please let us know as soon as you do if you are interested in participating in the club. We will have a start up party on Saturday June 28th with some nibbles and beverages as well as some free gifts for our club participants. We hope you will come join us!
The sign up cost is $40 per person, $30 of which you will get back in the form of a gift certificate if you make it all the way to the end (last year, our completion rate was 90%). The per month cost is $25 + tax per month and the club will run 11 months.
